Third day, I didn't meet any friends, ended up staying until midnight watching some creepy anime I went in to see just because it was rated R and they were carding people at the door.
It was also the third day I think I decided I would buy anything and everything related to Frutis Basket I could find in the dealers hall. I got all of the manga that was left, was looking for UFO catcher dolls (HAHAHA) and... found Fruits Basket trading cards.
At first, I thought I'd only try to buy one for a card of Uotani I could make for an icon for

campfuckudie.Five, six packs later, I had nothing.
Fourth day, I went back, said "screw it", and bought every single pack they had left. (They refused to give me a discount, but they did give me the display it was in, which was nice.)
I actually went through them the other day, and I have practically every card in the set. I have every normal card, and seven of nine of the "special" cards. So, For spending close to $100 on trading cards, I'm only missing two of them to be able to say "I have all the cards." (No, they're not battle or actual gaming cards. Just normal cards with pictures and some text on the back.)
I ran around, buying the last few pieces of crap in the dealer's room that caught my interest (including a Hinata and Tsunade keychain, and a Soujirou figure), and then watched the last they showed of Chrno Crusade (about episode 6-7).
After that, the convention was more or less shut down. The only THING left open was the arcade, and I had run out of quarters.
I considered staying until 6:00 to see the closing ceremonies, but at the end, I said "screw it," and left about an hour and a half before. I rationalized it as "beating the traffic."
And that was AX. I attended no panels, spent more money than I should've and generally stayed their longer than I had ever done so previously. (The earliest I came home was about 7:00 pm, in previous years I left as early as 1:00 pm to just come home.)
I'll miss next year, though.

Anything with Kyou is good. Double points for cat-form Kyou. Triple points for human-form-with-cat-ears-and-or-tail Kyou. Quadruple points for Kyou/Tohru moments.
Next... let's say any scene with Momiji being cute. Um, I guess that would be every scene with Momiji. What I _REALLY_ want is the "eeeeeeeeeee!" sound that Momiji makes while visiting the Onsen, but I guess you can't put that in card form.
Who else? Oo, Shigure's greatness must be recognized. Again, it's too bad you can't put the quacking noises associated with him annoying people in card form.
Those would have to be my favorites. But if you also want to put together your Hanajima, Hatsuharu and, oh, of course, Tohru cards, those are good as well.
You know, I started to think about Furubua playing cards. Let's see. There are sixteen face cards, which fits with thirteen cursed Sohmas, then Tohru / Uotani / Hanajima. Wait, in the anime, we never meet the Rooster or the Horse. I guess Akito makes a fifteenth. Sixteenth... should be Kyoko.
With Tohru, Uotani, Hanajima, Kagura, Kisa and Kyoko, that's six girls to spread among four Queens, and that's even before you consider Ayame. Let's make Kyoko an Ace. Ace of Hearts, of course. That's still five. Hm. Let's come back to this.
The Mabudachi Trio should be Kings. Ayame gets Diamonds, Hatori gets Spades, Shigure gets Clubs. Let's consider "Jacks" to be Princes or Princesses. Who fits that description? Yuki. Hiro and Kisa (since Hiro needs to be Kisa's "Prince Charming"). Someone else.
Hey, now we have only four Queens to consider. Tohru gets Hearts, of course. Either Uo or Kagura could be Clubs. Hanajima needs to be Spades. That fits with the quiet Akito and Hatori on Spades as well. Who gets to be Diamonds? Oh, let's make Uo diamonds as sort of a "red butterfly" thing.
Seven characters left. Two more Aces, one more King, four more Jacks. Let's make Kyo the fourth Jack, since he needs to be on the same level as Yuki. Kyo gets Hearts (COZ I SAID SO), Yuki gets Diamonds (same suit as Ayame, plus his elegance), Kisa gets Spades (quiet characters go on Spades!) and that leaves Hiro with Clubs (aggressive characters go there!).
Ritsu, Hatsuharu, Momiji. One needs to be a King, the other two Aces. Hmmm. Ritsu has to be an Ace, I guess, since he'd be uncomfortable as a King, and his outbursts trump whatever else is going on. Let's make him Diamonds to match up with Ayame's and, to a lesser extent, Yuki's beauty. Since that leaves the Ace of Clubs, Hatsuharu needs to go there. Again, Black Haru trumps whatever else is going on. That gives Momiji the King of Hearts, which is more perfect than I could have planned.
